Thanks, I'm not aiming for on par with the Space Shuttle, just trying to get a comfy trailer that fits my use.
I decided to finish the Luan paneling that will be installed for the ceiling and walls before I install it. Doing it this way allows me to seal both sides of the panel and I can do it faster in my garage/shop. In fact, I have it done! I used a floor sealer that I picked up for free at a local Reuse/Recycle Center. It is used for gym floors and bowling lanes. I figured that ought to do the trick.

Here was the process:
Apply sealer across the panel

Backroll with the grain

Stack to dry with a small piece of wood between sheets to allow for some air space

Since I used a water-based product, the finish did not add any yellowing or darken the sheets a lot. The greyish mahogany of the Luan is kind of reminiscent of a weathered board, just the look I was trying to get:
