Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, I have plenty of experience in construction so most of this is just another day for me. If you start off on a project like this, I've found it's good to have an open schedule about it. Like others have found, there always seems to be another task or a twist to plans showing up. Thw work is easy, just be prepared to have an interrupted schedule.
Speaking of cojones, I'm about to see what I have in that dept. regarding the cushions and some other things. Last week, my Daughter and I trotted off to the textile warehouse because she needed some fabric for a project and I was thinking about the trailer cushions and some pillows I have that need covering. I came away with some materials for the cushions and a Western pattern for the pillows I thought would look good.

While we were browsing the stacks of materials, I stumbled into a rack of vinyl wall coverings and a bulb went off in my head, "perfect material to cover cabinet doors and settee fronts". The loosely woven vinyl should let the heat transfer into the usually closed up spaces, it's less material to build, and should be easy to clean.

I am clueless as to the sewing part of this and hope to get the daughter and maybe, my wife to lend a hand. The viyl should be easy to staple onto a frame for the purposes I have in mind. I may even use some of it as a wainscoat, I find it pretty attractive.
