I've been looking for one of those on Ebay that has the above deck base and looks to be sturdy. Are the marine pedestals that slip in, stable enough to support a small table like this? I've been looking for ones similar to this. Thanks for all your help.
And Pausan, I haven't tried Acetone. I'll give it a try. The heat, along with mineral sprits and laquer thinner does a pretty good job. The 3M pads also help to scrub out the last bits of grunge.
In the near future, I'll post up some pictures of what this abomination looks like before and after.
