Flooring? I look at it this way, I hate vinyl. Every camper I've ever had had vinyl and I would cover it with carpet runners. Laminates are just fancy vinyl, imo. I would cover that too. Actually in a camper I feel that way about any hard surface flooring. It's the dirt, it sits on the surface for all to see and feel.
I used cheapo carpet with built in pad in mine, something like 44 cents a foot. It's comfy to walk on, doesn't show the dirt, I can vacuum when I get back and change it every few years if I really want to, but probably won't. That's my 2 cents FWIW. Table looks killer btw!
See, I feel just the opposite. With any kind of hard floor you can quickly sweep up the dirt. The carpet is just a big dirt catcher and it's hard to get it out of there. (How many people carry a decent vacuum in there camper.) When I re did my house and got rid of all that old carpet there was hundreds of pounds of dirt ground into it. My furnace filters last much longer now and the house gets a lot less dusty now that I have hardwood floors through out.
That's way they make options, to each his own.
