I had a busy and good day on the Hilton, today. After giving the last vent a facelift, I sealed it up with Eternabond. I lubed and reattached the fan with O-rings and it's now a whole lot quieter.

Top side view:

The Polish Princess played hooky, today, so we ventured out to a few Big Box stores and garden centers. I now have multiple landscaping and gardening projects. :D
I decided to get going on the brake wiring and axles. I didn't know what I was going to find inside the hubs. The wiring is, as I expected, junk. The magnets are wired with a foot of 16 ga. and then wire nutted and daisy-chained to the other axles.

I am pulling all of it and rewiring it all in loom. I will star wire it all and have it distributed at a terminal inside a box on the draw bar. I managed to get one side rewired, bearings packed, and the shoes adjusted. Pics of the new stuff will be forthcoming.
It was also kind of like Xmas for the Hilton today. From Colorado, a friend sent me two telecom AGM batteries, doubling my battery capacity!

I visited a friend and came away with this steel tool box for the draw bar. This is big enough to handle all of the electrical connections, the break-away battery, chains, jacks, tools, and all kinds of other essentials. I could get two 6v. cart batteries in there, too!

Santa left a new microwave too:

And, the best gift of all, Her Higness finally entered the Hilton, set a spell, and dialed in her favorite FM channel on the stereo. I think I am getting the Royal Approval!:B
