Did some more fresh water plumbing. I made a new line of copper from the tank to the water heater and a new copper outlet from the water heater to PEX:
I cut and placed the PEX with two shutoff valves for the kitchen sink:
I must still have some subconcious plumbing-avoidance because I entered into a discussion about future solar in the Tech Issues section and that derailed my plumbing for a bit. I needed to get some energy auditing for the guys over there and that meant shopping for a fridge and buying a Kill-a-watt meter. The best buy I could get on a fridge came in white and I wanted a black one so painting became a priority. The new black fridge:
