Taking the time while there is a lull in activity to put up some pictures of the paint job. The schedule was like this: Wash with siding cleaner (containing phosphoric acid) and a coarse 3M scrub pad. Rinse. Strip paint and caulk at all of the joints making sure to get all of the previous 40 years of sealants off. Fill all of the scew holes with filler and sand. Spot prime all of the joints, filled screw hoiles, abrasions, screws, tough areas. Apply Geocell 2300 tripolymer caulk into all the joints. Mask with tape, paper, and plastic. Spray the whole body with Sherwin Williams Pro-cryl Acrylic Primer. I am watching primer cure and this afternoon will spray a couple of coats with Sherwin Williams Acrylic latex Superpaint. More news and pics at 11.
