Wait till next summer, gas will be as high or higher than diesel. Just in time for traveling.
Yea I hear that every summer - Bird_FreakExplorer III see Supercharged is smoking that stuff again!!!
- Francesca_KnowlExplorerThe only folks offended by Supercharged's delightful nonsense are those who resent falling for it. I took the bait a few times but have learned to recognize (and appreciate) his style for what it is: Gentle satire on how seriously we all take ourselves.
And if anyone can point to a single thread he's started that is mean or truly inflammatory, I'll eat my hat, their hat, and the hat of the horse they rode in on! - pappcamExplorerI've seen the OP's posting style in previous posts as well as this one.
Do the mods here ever give people forced vacations? - Francesca_KnowlExplorer

And off his medications again.
Think His Superchargedness should be sniffin' diesel instead of that cheapo seventy-five-cent-a-gallon gas? :W - john_betExplorer III am retired and can't afford a new truck even a gas one. Guess I just keep racking up the miles on my 10 year old, broke in,paid for,low tech(no fansy mansy dash). I really care less about price difference. In fact I doubt a gas truck with the capabilities I need will get as good fuel mileage empty or towing as mine does now. JMO.

I just filled up 32 gallons........$3.31/gallon. $.15 less than regular gas.
As a diesel owner, you are very fortunate to have those prices where you're located!
Just posted yesterday, national averages per AAA are $3.18 for 87oct and $3.82 for diesel ($0.64/gal spread) - bmanningExplorer

I would think the sales should be over soon. I'm so gland I got a gas model again. I feel sorry the boys who just can't do the math and end up with the high cost of RVing. Then all those espenes parts and brake shoes. They say it will climb to over a $1oo higher soon.
I bought a diesel for tow capacity AND the fact that I'll still drive it when it has 200k miles on the engine.
Nothing untrue about what you said, but for a modern gasoline truck engine, 200k miles is nothing.
I remember when I was a kid, often motors were tired and wheezing at 75k miles and it was almost rare to see one untouched over 100k miles. Times have certainly changed for the better. - SpleenstomperExplorer
