8 Speed Auto for HD trucks
Apparently, ZF is making an 8 Speed HD trans that can handle 1000 lb-ft. 2020 release date. I see it as the next trans in the Ram 2500 and 3500s. LINK

I never got that on just about any vehicle (not just HD trucks). It's rare to have to back up more than 100yds and never above 15-20mph. The vast majority of time, it's less than 50' and below 5mph.
