Airbag fill ports?

For those with a manual aftermarket system, where did you put your fill ports?

Suggestions? I'm not interested in drilling anything that's metal on the truck.
  • The area just below the tailgate on both sides. Makes them easy to access.

I'm going to investigate that area closely tomorrow... Maybe find a place to attach my own plate that I can drill holes in.

On the opposite side where the 7 pin connector is. It's usually plastic and the fill valve is only the size of a tire valve.

I saw holes there... I was worried about ice build up or road gravel causing damage.

Several inside the wheel well as well, where the optional liner would attach. Same concerns.

    How have yours held up?
