AL-KO Kobler U-35 axle, industry part number
I just repacked the wheel bearing on my trailer. Since I had trouble finding part numbers, I'm posting them here for others - and as a backup to my notes. :)
After a bunch of digging, I finally found a AL-KO document that listed AL-KO and Hayes part numbers. This helped a bit, but finding cross references for the rest was not easy.
So here's the list. My axles had 10x2.25 inch drum brakes, with 5 lug 4.5 inch bolt circle wheels. I think these number will apply to any U-35 axle, but I'm not sure
I choose Mystic JT6 grease, available from my local farm supply store. I filled the hub, not just packing the bearings and used about 2/3 tube of grease per hub.
