- SugarHillCTDExplorerMuch nicer than this :E And no, it isn't photoshopped from what I can tell- I've seen a front image too.
- burningmanExplorer IIThat thing is really cool.
I learned to drive in a '68 VW Westfalia pop-top camper bus - which is a horrible thing to learn in but it makes everything else you drive easy! It had such features as the "grab and guess" shifter, the "automatic lane change" operated by random wind gusts, and lets not forget brick-on-the-gas-pedal "cruise control". - AD5MBExplorer30 years ago, you could buy a fine VW 1600 engine for $300, or buy a whole pallet of engines.
now, an engine worth having runs $4500, they pretty much give the cars away because there are no engines.
that van would be worth thousands in any condition; $40,000 or so in that condition
VWs are now a hobby for people with disposable income by the wheelbarrow. - slickrock_steveExplorerI had a love-hate-relationship with my bus. I also had only a 40 HP motor, and could probably have walked up the mountain to Big bear faster, but I did get there!

The "bug" was the beetle sedan. The vans were usually referred to as "VW busses." (I owned three bugs, three busses, and a Thing in the '60s and '70s...)

- exhaustipatedExplorerThat's way too cool to be for real, but who knows, maybe it is.
- Kayteg1Explorer III wonder if that is for real, or photoshop?
Those VW did come with pickup bed as well.
Have seen them in California. - jimh406Explorer IIIInteresting Class C.
- BB_TXNomadI like it! Won't that turn heads. I hope he has some air suspension to lift that baby up when driving.
