Why a new truck, EcoBoost not getting it done? If you are not dead-set on a diesel you might consider the V-10 in the Fords. Except for the spark plug issues these motors tend to be both powerful and reliable from what I've read here.
No, my truck is very capable. The opportunity to upgrade presented itself, so i started browsing. If i was going to trade in my Eco... it is for a diesel. But as i look more and more. I think i want to wait and build a new truck. Or if the perfect used appears. I will gab it.
I drive a V10 at work. its a great motor, but she is thirsty. I don't go anywhere fast anymore. I know I'd get better mileage then most. As my habits are very consistant. Seeing i put 230K on my last truck... i figured a diesel i'd get at least 500k out of... lol
I've been in 3 duty related accidents... no bueno. (none at fault) I give myself the most mount of time to deal with everyone else's poor driving habits... and that is by taking my time and doing the speed limit. lol
