It takes 8 ounces of water to turn on the "no warranty" WIF light...there is so much that can be said(and has been) about the frailty of the Bosch 4.xx series HPFP...Porsche actually used the word "delicate".
VW has again restated their coverage of the Bosch HPfp in their TDI's. They were told by NHTSA to either warranty them all or recall them all...GM continues to lead the way with the Bosch 4.xx HPFP...they just fix them all...I have not looked in a while but I have never seen a post about GM failures or warranty denial. Oh, they fail, as often as a Blue Oval POS,but GM quietly fixes them. I have even seen reports of GM offering loaner trucks while the repair is being completed.
