Aluminum step?

The Glow Step Revolution steps are the first class way to go. We love ours.


You can light em up also.

Just a tip for anyone with round rubber tips on their stool legs. Pull the tips off and insert a proper sized metal washer inside the tip and reinstall.

I agree completely. I installed my Glowstep Revolution in January and it is fantastic and no more portable bottom step to carry around.

We got the same one from Harbor Freight.
But the legs were too tall, so I removed the plastic feet, cut several inches off of the aluminum legs and then put the feet back on with pop rivets. It works great. The feet fold up for storage and it has a handle to carry it. If you wait for a sale and then use a 20% off coupon, it is pretty cheap...way cheaper than CW.

We were in sticker shock also. We used a homemade wooden box with green indoor outdoor carpet for over 20years. It always rocked a little when stepped on. My wife bought a Stromberg Carlson aluminum folding step from Camping World on sale. It was well worth it. Very stable and light. NICE !

Just an option:
I made a simple box step 16X22 for about $15 (picture old coke bottle crate)
One 2X4X8 PT, one 1X6X8 synthetic deck board and about 25 deck screws. Works great and if gets damaged I can make another in a couple of hours.

I used this one until I got my GlowStep. Two heights, and large enough to not miss when coming down the trailer steps. I gave it to my sister, and they use it all the time.
