- 1971amerigoExplorerThere are usually 3 or 4 for sale every week across the country.
The key would be finding one that is close.
They are definately worth fixing up and they get lots of comments when you take them out.
Bob W. - spacedoutbobExplorerI always admired the Amerigo Campers since the first time I saw one, back in 1975. If I had a place to work on it, I wouldn't have minded buying one.
Bob in Calif. - jtlingo123ExplorerI saw one of these for sale on CL a while ago out here in Seattle and the inside is really big and roomy. The back bunk area is really big, I wish I could have picked it up!
- Artum_SnowbirdExplorerHeard from the seller... apparently he got his price, but he didn't say if it was moved yet. I think it is a 1973 model.
- gboppExplorerThat would be a cool restoration project.
I think the older campers have more character than the new models. - PapPappyExplorerWell, if you buy it, you have to move the fireplace insert, and all that other******in front of it.
I actually like the design, with the "hybrid" bunk area.....but wonder why the seller isn't showing any of the interior?
Pretty neat:)
