It really is not a locking lever as it can not be "locked". That and the fact you have to drill into the overhang of your RV to attach the handle is a no go IMHO.
None of the other 5er hitches are "locking" handles until a lock is installed, either. They're all "latching" handles. If you recall, I posted "locking" options for the Andersen a while back. It can be locked, if one insists on a key lock. For me, "latching" is sufficient.
Please refresh my memory as I have NEVER seen a lock for the Andersen.
I am NOT the one that called it a "LOCKING LEVER". Other hitches do have latching handles that can be locked.
