I've added a triple disc low stall TC and built tranny, bumped timing 16* and running a #10 plate with 3k rpm gov springs. Stock valve springs, exhaust and air intake.
Never installed a boost elbow because I'm already able to push more than the stock charger is rated to handle (36psi).
The 2low kit really helps when making tight turns on asphalt.
Diesel is $3.99 a gallon here and gas is $3.89. I think I'll leave my gasser in the garage this weekend.
My 12 valve is quieter than all the newer modified exhaust diesels running around with 4" or 5" exhaust and a 5" or 6" tip. I also don't let it sit and idle like some do either. I agree that campgrounds should be quiet and have never understood why almost everyone that buys a Harley gets turrets of the right wrist. I would submit that a single Harley with straight pipes is louder than 20 12 valves.
