Anybody installed one of these tongue jacks yet?

I bought a flip foot from CW and really like it. I am a little nervous when parking on an incline, but I just wait until the front stabilizers are down to get in the trailer and move around. It has worked very well for me, and I like the idea of not having to carry around a 6 X 6 hunk of wood. The only minor draw back is is I have to have by torsion bars engaged to get the trailer off the hitch ball. Other than that, it works very well.

I have an Atwood jack and love. One of the best upgrades you can make. Its been trouble free for 8 years now. (Knock on wood)

Well I ordered the Atwood 3500 today from Amazon. Price was good and I imagine it's pretty much the same motor that was used in the Atwood jacks on my truck campers which always served me well.

Going for the newer model with the Robofoot was tempting, but there was too much of a price difference.

I installed today a Bulldog 4000# jack today on my trailer today. Total install time was about 15 minutes. I already can see I am going to love having this as opposed to cranking and cranking the tongue jack
. I was amazed how quiet the jack is, I've heard others comment on how loud some of their jacks are. The 5 year warranty on the Bulldog jacks swayed me from the other ones I was considering.

I had an Ultra Fab 300 on the TT in my sig that I sold. Not even a year old and it just quit. After checking all the connections I could I determined it was the jack. I laid out just around 300 clams for it so I called CW. They said they do not warranty the product but put me in touch with Ultra Fab. After speking with one of the the people at Ultra Fab they also determined it was defective and shipped me a new one for free. I asked him if he wanted me to send him the old one and he replied just throw it out! Great company. So now that I sold that TT and just bought a bigger heavier one, guess what, it was a no brainer to have installed an Ultra Fab 4000. That single act of good customer service caused me to buy from them again. And Ill do it again.

PS My tongue weight is around 900# the 4000 doesnt even struggle. Good product Good Company

I like my Ultra Fab Odyssey 4000. I have had no problems at all with it. It will very easily lift my truck to ease with WD hookup.

It was $280 at the dealer? Was it the 3k or 4k model? The 3500lb deluxe I was looking at is about $185/shipped.

I did find the 3k model on Ebay for $200, but not the 4k, which is what I would prefer due to the ball screw drive.

Please post up if you do find the 4k model (if thats what your looking for!) online for cheaper!

I was also close to buying the 3500's.
The dealer had the 3k model and was asking 280. If it been the 4k I probably would have popped for it.
I've had two truck campers with Atwood electric remote jacks. They always worked perfectly, and my bet is that the motors are all very close to the same.

I have the Fastway Flip foot that I added to my Lippert tongue jack to get the height I need. I prefer a Barker jack.
