Anyone use Eternabond instead of Dicor?

Just got done using Dicor Ultra seal primer with a 1 inch brush and Dicor ultra seal self leveling caulk on TCs TPO roof cabover seam and it came out ok but after 7 years getting tired of using Dicor. Anyone use Eternabond instead for vents and seams on roof? Pros and cons?
  • Just make sure you're sure before you put it down because it sure doesn't come up easily. Also I believe they recommend a bead of Dicor along the seam of the tape.

I've used it sparingly where I thought it made sense, especially across the cap where the front meets the roof. I've also used it to hold my solar wiring down. It sure is sticky stuff though lol I think I still have some stuck to me.
  • I used Eternabond about 6 years ago on all of my roof seams and around all of my roof vents, etc.and have not had any leaks.
    I highly recommend it.
  • Yes to Eternabond, once and done. I am going to Eternabond the cab over roof seam next week.
  • I Use Eternabond wherever I can. Dicor is used where I can't use E/bond.

The only con I've experienced, Eternabond is a little more difficult to apply in some areas.
It's long life makes up for any difficulty applying.
  • Absolutely....It's more work, but it is the "correct" and permanent solution to seam sealing.
