As a final to this story I wrote to northwood manufacturing and enclosed the pics I posted here. I received a reply back very quickly from mr. Dave Mann Here it is in its entirety:
"How can we respond to this? You've made up your mind. Of course we think the Arctic Fox campers are designed and built properly. With the retail culture the way it is it would be
utter stupidity to build a camper that is not properly reinforced. Sorry you feel this way."
Please take note to the part " designed and built properly" as you look at the pics again. Also " properly reenforced". You can make your own call.
For those saying it's a 16 year old camper, if it was rotted I would agree poor maintenance on my part. This is strictly a horrible design and defies even the most basic concepts of wood construction. Also I chose arctic fox because I wanted the full wall slide and the dry bath and this one even had the generator. If anything I hope this whole thread points out WHY these campers sag and how to fix it . Thanks. Mike
