If you don't, then you're comparing two different engines and you're handicapping the gasser.
If you think compression ratio has a lot to do with mileage you have some reading to do. :B
Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that diesel has over 13% more energy than gasoline, now could it? Naaaaaaaaaaaa, :R :B
