Are LED RV lights as bright as incandescent?
I find the brightness of the lights in my TT marginal at best. It is not that the lights are dim; it is just that even with both bulbs shining brightly, they only draw 30 watts of power. My average home lamp is 60 to 75 watts.
We all know the LED draws about 1/10 the power of the incandescent but how much less light does it put out? For those who have done the switch; is it just as bright, brighter, less bright? And, how does the color compare?
Does anyone have the data that compares the Lumen output of a 12 volt RV incandescent to the lumens of an LED designed to plug into the RV lamp socket?
I do not mind replacing the out dated incandescent lamps, but I certainly do not want less light output and would definitely prefer more.
