Regardless, the "peak to peak" is open all the way from Blackhawk to Estes Park. Our canyon (72) will not open until around December 1st. My commute went from 50 minutes to 1:50. So what the heck, we have a campsite in Golden for this month, and may stay next month too. Nice excuse to live in the camper for a month or two, while still able to go home at times, and leave to go camping elsewhere as well. Fall in the front range is beautiful.
