Battery Disconect Switch
Can I install a battery disconnect to disconnect both batteries with one switch. The YouTube videos are a bit confusing. thank you:)

Terminate the disconnect switch onto the (+) phase wire that enters the trailer. Be sure you still have some manner of circuit protection like a fuse or circuit breaker inline.

Your trailer should already have a resettable circuit breaker wired in line from the battery's positive terminal ... 30 amp is a typical rating.
