It's lawyer speak-they are not endorsing them for trailer use. But can be used for other "vehicle applications" (as long as weights are met,etc.). Does this mean a TT"? Are TTs "other vehicles" Or are vehicles something that only has a power train? If you "interpret" they are for trailer use you are on your own.
Actually it was a area Continental dealer that suggested the 15" Vanco for one of my smaller tandem axle trailers with the 15" tires. I had never heard of them until then.
And we see Vanco tire users on lots of different websites who have already established the fact that they work out great on their trailers.

Answer:Thank you for contacting Customer Relations at Continental Tire the Americas, LLC.
The Vanco 2 tires would be a great choice. The Vanco 2 tires have reinforcement that allows it to perform well on travel trailers. Thank you for your interest in our products and we appreciate your business.
So yeah I would interpret "used for other vehicle applications" as endorsing them for a trailer. If Continental/Vanco didn't want them used on a trailer then there would be warning on the tire and their adds or warning from the dealers that this tire not recommend for trailer service.
Their are no tires out here made specifically for a TT. A TT is no different than other trailer types when it comes to tire fitment.
