That was my mistake in formatting when I typed and formed my response to your earlier comments. I did not intend to attribute those comments to be yours, I intended them to be mine. I will go back and re-edit it if the mods have not already, to make it clear the comments are mine in response to your comments.
I apologize for the confusion I may have caused the forum members by incorrectly formatting. However, as I am sure you all suspect, I stand firmly behind my comments.

What's the point of attributing that second "quote" to me???? (see bold below) Those words are entirely the sentiments of their author, who I presume to be GMW photos.
I'd never post such unsubstantiated nonsense, and have requested of the Moderator that it or at least its connection with my name be removed.

Since it hasn't been answered yet, I'll ask you the same question I asked the last guy in this thread that made that statement (see bold below):

The point made was that LT tires are held to a higher standard than ST tires .
Why do you suppose ST tire have written on the sidewall "Trailer Use Only" ?????
I think we can likely infer from that the tire company does not want any part of the liability that is involved of having human passengers riding on ST tires. There must be a reason for that.
I must admit you are certainly of the biggest fanboys for ST tires on the forums.
Let's face it, folks of all kinds of trailer types ( campers, cargo, horse, and equipment trailers ) are figuring out there is a better alternative to ST tires, and it is "LT". To those who may have missed it in earlier posts above in this thread, I posted some comments from the Tire rack site that states LT tires are fully approved for trailer use. You can also dig thru the Good Year corporate site and see they state the same thing in their tire line. There is also another post up there where I corrected the misinformation about LT tires only being speed rated to 75 mph. A person needs to dig a little deeper than that to find the correct facts.
