Best Tires?

Look at the sticker on the drivers side door jamb for the size. Get hiway tread.

I run Michelin LTX MS2's on my 2008 Dodge 2500 6.7 Cummins 4x4 and tow every weekend either an enclosed 28' race trailer fully stocked or a 30' travel trailer. Hands down, the best tires I have owned. Just replaced the rears 2 years ago and not 1/4 worn, Fronts were on the truck when purchased 3 years ago and still half tread. Also run them all winter here in Canada. Not one complaint. Quiet, long tread life, and good traction. They are without a doubt the best.
And for those that talk about sidewall cracking, I have talked to Michelin about this, as I run Michelins on my tractor trailer and they do the same thing. The only thing that cracks is the outter most dress layer of rubber and it is in no way structural. Tire casings on my big truck have never been rejected for recapping even when x rayed with this cracking. Never had a blow out, and excellent life and service out of Michelins.

Sounds like a road hazard. Something entered the tread area and exited out the sidewall.

I had a set of LT MTX's' then BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain T/A's on my Jeep, swapped them for a set of LT Cooper Discoverer AT/3's and will never look back. The Coopers are excellent on their own, then consider they're about 15% less then either the michelins or BFG's.

I too will never buy Michelins again. Seems most tires go years before the sidewall cracks. My Michelins went weeks before cracking all around the bead area. Junk.

LTX M/S2 on about everything except my wheelchair... They don't make them in that size.

F350 with Nitto terra grabbers 90,000+ on them still had lots of tread left . changed them after 7 years.

Track better than my stock Bridgestone m700 duravis and as quiet with much better traction.
