Better way to change rear fuel filter on 2016 Cummins?

I think the biggest tip is to let the filter drain long enough before removing it. I did this the first time and then every time since I seem to think I’m in a hurry and cuss at the awful mess that follows. Next time I’m going to be sure I let it drain for a good while.
