Better way to change rear fuel filter on 2016 Cummins?

Does anyone know a better way to change the rear fuel filter (water separator) on a new generation Cummins without getting showered with diesel fuel? I've done it twice now and always get a lot of ...

Local dealer wants $430 for the job. They base this on "2 hours of labor".

The front filter takes 10 minutes if you're slow and take your time. Rear filter would be about the same if I had a lift
