As others have said it takes very little time to unlock and unclamp a Fastgun. I leave mine hanging from the camper and put the lock on the drivers seat, so I don't forget to reconnect everything. Was at a gas station where they pump the fuel and I told the guy that it was just a very expensive fuel tank lock!!!
Once you have done it a few times it is easy. We are still travelling and have put 26,000 km (16,000 miles) on the truck since the end of May with another 5000 or 6000 to go and I haven't noticed it being an inconvenience.
