Has anyone used a fine polishing compound to remove black streaks from an aluminum sided camper?
Yup. Some stuff in a green can from Germany. Worked great. Would test it first on yours in a small out-of-the-way spot, just in case.
Tried Awesome full strength too, but that took a lot more work. - leatherhead612ExplorerTotally awesome works great, try it diluted first, I used it full strength on an enclosed utility trailer and it definitely cleaned it, but needed to polish it to renew the shine. I used it diluted on my TT and it worked great.
- pfidahospudExplorerHere's one vote for NuFinish. I love the stuff. I think it works better than Awesome cleaner (if you do use Awesome, remember to only use a 50% mixture, and rinse thoroughly).
- anaroExplorerwe are going to try using awesome tomorrow. I will let you know how it works.
- 352ExplorerMold Armor green spray bottle. Home Depot or Lowes or Ace. Spray it on for 30 seconds and wash it off. Works really great on molded boat seats. No elbow grease.

- trnflaExplorerI don't know if it would work but I discovered that Bounce Dryer sheets took for the black stuff on my rubber trim.
