I glued a cap on one end of PVC and a valve and hose connection on the other. drilled holes in the side of the cap. Seems to work pretty well, just stick it down into the tank.
That's what i did with mine, works great.
Kevin - 214skierExplorerUpdate:
I ordered the quickie flush which I will install this weekend.
I will try a little detergent as well.
This season we switched from "RV paper" to "non-RV paper" under the understanding there was very little difference. This is when the "build up" / "problems" began. We will also be switching back to "RV paper" only.
As always, greatly appreciate the wisdom, advice and prompt replies. This forum and its participants are invaluable to shortening the "trial and error" curve (heavy emphasis on error). - MAV_8801ExplorerI have used laundry detergent for years in the tank on the way to my destination. Flush it with a bucket of water when I hook up. No issues... But yes, I am a campground guy!
- RaftenExplorerThat is about what I made Bob, think I'll cut the slit in the end like yours.

my camper came with a flush system installed that is basically the same thing. those sprays seem to work well. still has not helped the sensor reading though.
only problem i have is that i am rarely at a place that has water and sewer hook ups to use the darn thing.
Alot of the newer TCs are coming thru with the factory installed flush systems. They work very well. They use a female hose fitting that a standard garden hose will screw into. Most dump stations have a basic rubber hose for the user to rinse out his sewer hose when finished, but it has no threaded hose end fitting. I made an adapter that I can clamp onto that hose end and still do my flush, so as long as I am not holding things up I can use their water to flush out my black tank at each dumping. After 3 years my tank sensors are still working fine.
making an adapter might just be the thing i need to do. - MacrosillExplorerI have the Tornado. I installed it last year. The 1st time I used it was interesting. The stuff that I saw flow through the clear elbow on my hose, while rinsing, was enlightening.
- MTBobExplorerHere's what I use and it works great. Not sure who the manufacturer is. It has a nice ball valve to shut of the water.
The screw-off brass head came with a spray jet that was too big and didn't have enough "Umph". So I filled the tip with JB weld and used a thin saw to re-open the tip for the forward/downward jet. Then I drilled holes in the sides of the cap.
The result is that I get a very very strong downward blast of water and six side jets of water. After I've "dumped my load", I hook this wand up to the water supply at the dump station and stick it down the toilet. After moving the wand around a bit and rotating it, there is not trace of dumplings left and I get a clean reading on my tank indicator.

Cool idea! - RaftenExplorerI glued a cap on one end of PVC and a valve and hose connection on the other. drilled holes in the side of the cap. Seems to work pretty well, just stick it down into the tank.
