Sounds like a good plan to move up to the 1 ton F350. Don't know if you are considering a single rear wheel or dual rear wheel, but I would seriously look at the dually. Best to have a little more than a little less truck! I would also suggest an 8' bed over the shorter bed so that you don't have to have to use a slider fifth wheel hitch.
