It's seems like Ford and GM have been fudging their numbers by using stripped down versions for curb weight as discussed on the TV forum. Ford and GM fudging payload?
You will more than likely run out of payload capacity well before tow capacity and GCWR.
The payload stickers are required my NTSHA as equipped from the factory. They are very accurate. Any dealer and owner accessories are not included.
The fudging payload is for web sites/brochure max payloads, not the Tire and Loading stickers.
