- TiziExplorerI unplugged and plugged back in and have everything but driving lights. I will try the cleaner.
- DewclawExplorer III have often had issues with some of the turn signals or brake lights on the NL not working after I load it. I just unplug and replug the truck-camper connector until it works. No issues after that. I need to put something on the plugs to keep the connection good between trips.
- trailgranny50ExplorerWe've had issues like that and some of the time it is dirt in the plugs, connections, even bugs . We purchased some spray electrical connection cleaner and spayed both sides, truck and trailer/camper and the problem went away. Just be sure to let it sit long enough to be completely dry before reconnecting! Oh if it could be that simple all the time. Our Toyota FJ has that issue, dust, with the switches that tell the computer if a door isn't closed completely. Cleaning them fixes that as well.
- ticki2ExplorerI hate to say it but it can also be a broken wire in the harness . Finding it can be almost impossible . I finally gave up and tapped into the trucks running lights .

My 2007 NL marker lights and right turn signal stopped working. The bulbs looks fine. Truck lights all work. Is there a fuse location for the exterior running lights?
Under the hood on your Dodge. Separate fuses for the trailer/TC lights.
Not on his 2007.
He has an insidious little device called a TIPM and when it trips it can only be reset by a dealer or by replacing the TIPM (expensive). - JaxomExplorerI'm on my phone so can't help much.
Do a google search for TIPM problems. The TIPM can be reset by the dealer a limited number of times. Then you need a very expensive replacement. $700-$800. - kenzmadExplorerI had the same thing happen this year. Ended up being the ground wires behind the left side taillight.
- Super_DaveExplorerStep 1) get a 12v test light and test the 7 pin plug in the bed of the truck by turning the running lights on or a blinker. This will tell you whether or not the problem is on the truck side or the camper side. If it is on the truck side, Dodge does a stupid thing where some lights are controlled by fuses and some lights are controlled by the trucks computer. The ones controlled by the computer need to be taken to the dealer for a reset or you can install a bypass. This happened to me a couple of years ago and I did the bypass. On a separate occasion, I had camper running light problems and removing the cord head, I found a loose ground wire. Those are the 2 bits of real experience that I can add.
- mooring_productExplorerPut some electric grease in the plug. Check the grounds also.
- No, that is not correct. The trailer/camper fuses operate separately from the truck. The control is the same, power is separate.
Your rig could have two fuses for each trailer/camper function.
