  • kohidad is right in that each circuit has a fuse.I gust looked a the block and NO fuse for running lights. The fuse for the running lights is under the hood.It is marked TRL PARK (Parking Lamps Trailer Wiring)
It is on left side 3rd. row down from top of fuse block.
  • Sepertae fuse for each light? But all my truck light's work its just the running lights and tail light's on the camper brake and turn signals work ?

Not for each light, but for each circuit. Each circuit is protected by a different fuse.

    You have several circuit:
    Parking lights
Brake lights (which are the same as turn signals)
    Connector parking lights
connector brake lights (again same as turn signals

caveat: If you have yellow turn signals, these are separate on a separate circuit from brake lights, but the big 3 domestic trucks does not have this.

However, if none of your camper lights work, that is pointing to a bad ground contact, broken wire, or corrosion. Odds are you did not blow the fuse for both circuits at the same time - unless you pinched the cable.
  • If it were a Ford seperate fuse for rv tailight/running light (same circut) in the engine bay fuse box. Which feeds the plug. The plug has single feed for camper tailight/running lights so as mentioned a bad connection or loose wire there will kill camper.
  • I bought a 7 pin adapter that has the 4 pin adapter for the TC side and it has 3 red lights on top that let me know it's working on the truck side. So now if I'm having light issues, I can see if it's on the truck side or the TC side. I put newer LED tail lights on my TC and just found out the passenger side wires were crossed!

    I hope this helps...

  • Fuse block on drivers side dash. Separate fuse for each light to camper.
  • Some vehicles have the trailer lights on a seperate fuse than the vehicle lights. May have simply blown the fuse. If so, either replace with a known good or check the fuse with a meter. Visual inspection of fuses can only verify it's bad, not that it's good.
  • My 7 pin pigtail brass contacts had oxidation that was preventing a solid connection. After cleaning and applying di-electric grease the connections worked better. On my recent trip, my son was following me and reported I had no right brake light/turn signal. After disconnecting and reconnecting the 7 pin pigtail, the light began to work.

Check for corroded oxidized brass components in your pigtail connections.
  • Almost every time I have a camper running light or turn signal problem it is a wire in the camper plug head has come loose. It is now the first place I check.
