we live in port saint lucie, fl and our camping season runs from oct. to mar. mostly because we don't like to camp if we got to run the ac. we just do the fla. state parks and our bucket list is to do them all, and have done 22 so far. we enjoy hiking with our 2 rescue corgis. there are many state parks within 100 miles of Lakeland!
