In Florida, the further away you are from the coast, the warmer the weather will be in the summer. This has to do with the cooling effect of the wind blowing over the water near the coast.
Typically, coastal areas (at least on the west coast near Venice where we live), will rarely exceed 94 in the summer. But if you go inland, the temps will be 5 to 10 degrees higher.
As for camping in the summer in Florida - a lot of people do it, but you have to run the air conditioning. Not a big problem if you camp where there are electrical hookups.
