Surprisingly, some are NO PET communities
Funny - we live in Florida and the neighbors across the street have two goats. The neighbors behind us have chickens. The woman four doors down is a volunteer cat rescue and has at least six cats.
We are not in a 55+ community, but the average age here in Englewood is 65, most of the lots in our neighborhood are 1.5 acres, horses are allowed, and we are less than a mile from the beach.
Being a 'retirement' community, there are no tourist attractions (except the 18 miles of beaches), no theme parks, only six traffic lights, and almost no crime.
Surprisingly, there is a great hospital, lots of doctors, plenty of shopping, and lots of laid back people.
