Camping in FL
We're seriously contemplating a move to Lakeland, FL. Know summers are a bit on the toasty size, but what is a reasonable amount of the year when you can comfortably camp. We have several side-issue...

I already know what it's like and I ain't going back. I'm glad you like it - for many people like me "It's not for me". No amount of hyperbole is going to change that. Enjoy your 3 seasons: good, hot, and broil.wing_zealot wrote:Dog Folks wrote:Really, which season do you get to go snowshoeing, play pond hockey and go downhill skiing? You only have 3 season sports. And most of them you can't stand to play in the summer except in the middle of the night. We have year around sports.
...That is the great thing about Florida life. Our sports are year round....
I knew someone would challenge that and you did.
Our SUMMER SPORTS can be enjoyed year round. No winter sports allowed.
No winterization of campers. No putting away the boats or the motorcycles for winter.
