While many will fold up and head home, it just leaves me enjoying the symphony of sounds from the rain on the roof my camper. One of my favorite things, of being in my TC, is when it rains. I have so many rainy day projects, it forces me to stay home in the TC and watch it rain as well as plan for those opportunities to do photography, that only is available before, during and after a rain. Rain literally saturates colors in so many of the organics out there. Rather than quit and run for shelter, grab an umbrella, rain coat and look for those rare opportunities with your camera.
Also, when the rain is coming down hard and warm, I am out with my Telescopic Wash Brush, bucket of suds and washing down my camper and truck. Rain is such terrific final rinse! When you do it in a public place, people really get a laugh, and an occasional honk, from those that catch you doing a little Truck Camper Washing.
If you have the right dry wear, hiking in the rain or Kayaking in the rain can be such a wonderful experience. The nice thing about being out in remote areas, you really don't have to wear much when the dog needs to go out, and you don't want to bring a lot of wet clothes back into your TC. I know; TMI :B
