I have 3 of these from Wal*Mart:
If need be, I can drive these over to the spigot and fill them up, or if no spigot is expected to be available, I will fill them at home and put them in the truck.
I would also invest in a funnel like this:
Otherwise you lose a lot trying to get the water into the water fill on the camper. Works best if you have a helper to hold the funnel, but can be done solo.
Also invest in one of these:
If your gray (or black) tank fills up, you can dump some of it in the "blue boy", then tie it to the back of the truck and empty it at the dump station.
If we conserve, my wife and I can go 3-4 days on a tank of water (50 gals). If you shower inside, use the Navy shower as goducks describes and be aware of running water anytime. Don't leave it running if shaving or brushing your teeth. When doing dishes, fill the sink with water and wash/rinse in the sink. Run water very sparingly.
