The ground contact area of the Andersen levelers is a bit larger than my tires so if the tires don't sink then the Andersen levelers don't sink.
How well do they work on dirt-grass or sand? especially after a rain. I would think they would sink in the ground if they were used on anything less than a solid foundation, like concrete, asphalt, or gravel. Can anyone
I bought a set just before our last Fall trip last year. We stayed in a campground we go to often and the sites are VERY unlevel. Getting the right stack height with wood or plastic was often a problem. With the Andersens I just pulled forward slowly while my wife watched the level. When it was level I pulled forward another inch and put the chock under the leveler and it settled nicely level with the tire secure in the curve of the leveler. What often took half an hour took 5 minutes. :C - pianotunaNomad IIIBecause I am in a class C, sometimes I need to level side to side and front to back. That means I need four andersen levelers.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Using boards under the andersen levers does not always work. They tend to "skate" along the board. - dee74Explorer

Here's another question.
Is the 4" lever enough to lift the other tire up to change?
I have drove all the way up on mine and it did not lift the other tire off of the ground. I love these levelers, they are lightweight and really easy to use - acritzerExplorer II

They do have another 7" one for that purpose.
I know. But if I can just get the smaller ones that would be easier.
I don't think the bigger one comes with a chalk - Nutinelse2doExplorer

Well. Shoot. Another thing to buy!
Anyone know how close is too close for using on tandem axels?
Our tire spacing in 1 3/4" and they work fine with our rig. Did have to trim them though. - Wishbone51Explorer
