Can't figure out where to order a replacement table..

I have just purchased my first travel trailer and am eagerly downsizing so I can move in. It is a 2008 malibu skyliner. The only thing I am missing is the table thats legs fold down and fits behind the couch.. I searched ebay and googled and have seen tons of folding tables for various uses but they are not thin enough to fit behind the couch.
(about a 2 inch gap)

Help? I tried searching the forum here but I think this question is so basic maybe no one has posted it..

  • I searched for pictures of the 2008 Malibu Skyline to get an idea of the type of table that it has, and it looks like a table with the folding "X" shaped legs attached to a laminate top.

The legs can be had from Factory RV Surplus for $11 (see here) and the table top can be anything you like. The same people have table tops that you can buy to which I presume you can add the aforementioned legs. Total cost would probably under $150 shipping included.

Thank you everyone and oh my gosh this community is awesome. I felt so lost looking and you guys just bam... wow. Thank you once again! I am so excited to begin this new part of my life and I can only hope that I get to meet some of you or people as friendly as you on the road!

  • Might consider just leaving the table in its "use" position. My dining table has been left up for over 80,000 towing miles with no problems. If it gives you trouble, screw it down to the floor.
  • If the company is still in business, a dealer should be able to order one for you.
  • Bought one from Home Depot...folding cafe or bistro table....$40. Not sure if it would work for you but we're much happier with this than the huge, heavy table that came with the trailer. At some point, I will cut some 3/4" plywood (to be stored away) to use as the base for making the dinette into a bed.
  • I looked at some 2008 Malibus on-line and it is sort of a different looking table than what is used currently in trailers. You may have to have one built and purchase some fold-up legs for it. Good luck in your search though.
  • Is that a free standing folding table that goes in front of sofa?

Office Depot has 2 small free standing folding tables
