We have a 2008 Tahoe. I need to change out the ps tires to LT for towing. Am I right in that I just need the LT tires on the back? Can I keep my ps tires on the front?Also which Lt tires would you recommend?Thanks!!!!

Install 4 new tires and go. Not real smart to install different types of tires on a vehicle.

No, you should change all 4. If you are towing and have a WDH it will transfer weight to the front axle as well.

Ohh ok,, didnt think about the transfer of weight on to the front tires also.Well crud,, thats another 500.00. Maybe I can find some real good used ones. HmmmAlso which brand would you recommend?

What size are you buying? I've had good luck with several brands of load range E light truck tires.

Well the tires we have on now are p265/70r17 so I guess we should stay with that size except LT ones Right?
