My chassis cab had a choice of 4.10, 4.44 or 4.88 - I chose the 4.44 and am happy with it since I do not drive the truck faster than 65 mph. If you think you will be doing any extended driving at higher speeds, I would suggest the 4.10 ratio. For people like me the 4.30 or 4.44 is a great towing ratio that is comfortable in the 55-65 mph range. The 4.88 gears are great for heavy loads, but makes the engine spin too fast for comfortable long highway drives.
