My former 2011 F450 had the 4.30 rear end. With the old Cyclone loaded up completely and the truck full of fuel, we were pushing 29,000 lbs..
In my opinion, the 4.30 was total overkill. The power these days is so huge, I just never saw the need for the 4.30.
But at the same time, the 6-speed knows what you have so cruising down the highway, the motor isn't screaming or anything like that. We could get around 8 mpg with the cruise set on the highways around 65-67 mph.
Long story short, I would opt for the 3.73 unless you're headed for the mountains a lot or you're doing a lot city driving with the camper. Heck, the SRW 350s comes with 3.55s and 3.31s.
