In the past, you were right. Good bodywork job meant the buyer couldn't see what happened so paid full price thinking it was never wrecked. With the advent of Carfax for those who don't know jack about vehicles, diminished value became a real, real thing.

Oh c'mon...

It's a Dodge. Just because Fiat decided to put giant emblems all over the thing doesn't make it any different than a run-of-the-mill Dodge pickup. Capitalizing doesn't make it moreso a truck. It's ultimately a Fiat in engineering, quality. and execution. But, for some reason people who own these newer badged Dodge trucks just HAVE to constantly point out that their truck is NOT a Dodge but is specifically a truck. And, they can NEVER just type "Ram" as it ALWAYS has to be capitalized to be sure that people know they don't own a Dodge pickup, they own a truck. It's as much a as a Cimarron was a Cadillac.

In Ga they pay diminished value regardless of how/where it was fixed. Simple fact is the vehicle is worth less after an accident and the insurance company must pay for that loss in value. Its the law! And I'd press them hard for every penny possible. Carfax and all these other companies will have a record of the truck being in a serious collision and it WILL effect resale and or value from now on.

And a salvage title is when a vehicle is totaled and purchased from the insurance company or owner and rebuilt, inspected, and re-titled as a "salvage" title. The OPs truck was not totalled.

You're joking right? Crashes and the fact that the vehicle is worth less are the main reason for Carfax. The vehicle may be just fine, but the perception is that it is not and this definitely hits the value.
