That could be a dilemma of epic proportions. If you tow your Tesla behind your 40' Prevost which gets 6 miles per gallon of dino oil, are you still saving the Earth or will you be branded a hypocrite?
If you hitch the Tesla to the Prevost backwards will it charge while being towed down the highway?
ROFLMAO!!:B
You gotta remember, most of the EV nut humpers now have zero "concern" about actually saving the environment. Sure the little scooters like the Leaf are somewhat economical, maybe even pencil out cheaper overall as a little sub compact gasser car (doubt it but at least not grossly overspending like most of the Tesla jet setters).
How do I know this? In the affluent part of the Seattle area, you ain't shizz unless you're driving a Tesla. They're everywhere. Cant swing a dead cat without hitting one. Parked right next to the Mercedes and Bimmers and Porsches at the Teryaki joints and salons.
In normal person ville, they're still Hyundais and Kias at the Mc Ds and the Kroger.
Some folks in our neighborhood had a real nice squarebody Blazer and a something or other white mommy missle milquetoast SUV, both daily drivers. One day, both are gone and 2 shiny new Teslas are parked in the same spot in front of the garage. (Yes they are the type of folks with their garage so packed full of chit that you couldn't park a unicycle in it...)
I was thinking, wow, what an upgrade!
That was about a year and a half ago.
About 6mo ago, one of the Teslas left and a Korean chit box gas car took it's spot. Just recently the other one left as well and there's another soccermobile in it's place.
Now ICBW and maybe they made a bunch of money on them (with vehicle availability like it is and supply chain issues), or maybe they weren't the new Jesus of car payment savings!
